The purpose of ASU of WAC shall be to provide a safe place for African students attending Washington College. To promote unity and mutual understanding among its members and the Washington College community. To promote cultural and social exchanges in conjunction with other organizations with common goals in and outside the College. To create and promote a forum that will allow the exchange of ideas on issues affecting Africa and the diaspora. To stimulate African student involvement in the College's affairs.

Cleopatra's Sisters is a club of sisterhood and service for women, particularly women of color and of different cultures, but not exclusive to these groups, here on campus. The eight principles of the Cleopatra's Sisters are: sisterhood, love, respect, patience, endurance, peace, confidence, and unity. These principles empower not only our sisters, but also our greater society.

Mission Statement:
The WAC Democrats' mission is to get college students and members of the WC community more active and involved in politics for the future of the United States. The Washington College Democrats, or commonly referred to as the WAC Dems, is the organization for political advocacy, information, and democratic advancement on campus devoted to spreading overall political education and awareness. Founded in the Spring of April 1950, the Washington College Democrats hope to provide community members with an understanding of the political process, current events and policies that affect the average citizen of the United States, as well as the world. As an organization, we seek to discuss pragmatic politics that will ensure civil liberties, human rights, national security, and equal opportunities for every citizen and advocate policies that will shape a better future for generations to come.

Welcome to the Compost Team (also known as the Composting Team)

We are here to promote composting, zero waste processes, and sustainability at Washington College!

Our official mission statement: The Washington College Composting Team was created to both educate students about the benefits of composting, which includes reducing costs and CO2 emissions created by the campus, and to foster a culture of sustainability and eco-awareness through different events and activities.
